14 Killed as Heavy Rain Triggers Floods and Landslides in Nepal
At least 14 people have died in Nepal over the past 72 hours as heavy rainfall triggered floods and landslides across several parts of the country.
On Sunday, four people were killed in separate landslides in Myagdi and Baglung districts. The Narayani River also crossed its warning level of 9 metres, raising concerns of further flooding.
Several landslides blocked highways and disrupted transportation, while security forces evacuated thousands of people from flood-prone areas and moved them to safer locations.
