I should have bought a donkey instead of buying a Tata car.
Alwar , October 7 : A Tata electric vehicle owner in Rajasthan’s Alwar drew public attention with an unusual protest after allegedly facing repeated problems with his car.
Deepak Sharma placed posters featuring a donkey on his approximately ₹12 lakh electric car, sarcastically suggesting that buying a donkey would have been better than purchasing the vehicle.
Sharma alleged that after buying the car, he encountered several issues, including battery problems, peeling paint and rust. He claimed that despite repeated complaints, his problems were not satisfactorily resolved. The matter was also reportedly taken to court.
In a subsequent development, Sharma and his family reportedly staged a protest outside the dealership. Following discussions, the vehicle was reportedly taken back and Sharma was handed a cheque for ₹12 lakh, after which the protest ended.
