Awareness Rally Observed on World Day Against Child Labour
On June 12, 2026, the Siliguri Women Police Station, under the Siliguri Police Commissionerate, in association with CINI, Siliguri, conducted an awareness rally to commemorate the World Day Against Child Labour.
The programme focused on spreading awareness about the adverse effects of child labour and reinforcing every child’s right to education, protection, and overall well-being. Through placards and direct interaction with the public, participants highlighted the laws against child labour, stressed the importance of education, and encouraged community participation in safeguarding children’s rights.
