CM Prem Singh Tamang Felicitates New Chairperson of Sikkim Backward Classes Commission

Gangtok, 19 Jan : Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) on Tuesday met the newly appointed Chairperson of the Sikkim Commission for Backward Classes, Smt. Kabita Sapkota, at his official residence.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister congratulated Smt. Sapkota on her appointment to the key constitutional body and conveyed his best wishes as she takes on the responsibility. He expressed confidence that her leadership would contribute significantly towards safeguarding the interests and welfare of backward communities in the state.

The Chief Minister also wished her success in fulfilling her duties with dedication and integrity, emphasising the government’s commitment to inclusive development and social justice for all sections of society.
