🐘 Five Real Heroes Honoured for Saving a Baby Elephant 💙

On 21 September 2026, a baby elephant was found drowning in the Teesta River. Without a second thought for their own safety, five brave men jumped into a small boat and headed straight into the river to save it.

After a tireless effort, they lifted the calf onto their boat and safely reunited it with its mother. 🙏

Meet the heroes: Bishwanath Das, Bablu Das, Mithu Das, Ajay Das and Gopal Das 👏

Today, they were felicitated by Quazi Samsuddin Ahamed, DCP (Traffic), Siliguri Police Commissionerate; Shri Subir Dutta, ACP (Traffic); SI Sudip Kumar Dutta, OC, Bhorer Alo PS; and SI Rashbihari Saha, OC, Gajaldoba Outpost.

Courage + compassion = real heroism. Every life matters. 🌿

Drop a ❤️ for these heroes!
