Gangtok Traffic Police Act on Viral Video of Obstructive Parking Near Vajra Hall

Gangtok, December 3 : The Gangtok Traffic Police have taken swift action following a video posted by a concerned citizen on social media showing a government vehicle allegedly parked in a manner that obstructed traffic near Vajra Hall on December 2, 2025.

Taking cognizance of the viral clip, the Traffic Mobile Unit immediately responded and initiated necessary legal action against the offender. The vehicle involved has been seized and is currently parked at the outskirts of the Traffic Office in Gangtok, pending further legal proceedings.

The police have appreciated the role of responsible citizens in highlighting traffic violations and reiterated their commitment to ensuring smooth traffic flow and strict enforcement of road safety regulations in the city.
