Gyalshing Drug Seizure: Suspected Brown Sugar and 341 Capsules Recovered, One Accused Intercepted

Gyalshing, November 4 : Gyalshing Drug Seizure was reported following a vehicle interception at 8th Mile near Bhanusalik Fatak in Gyalshing district on Tuesday night, November 3. Acting on credible source information, authorities intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number SK-02-P-6160 at approximately 11 PM and recovered suspected narcotic substances and pharmaceutical capsules during a search.

The vehicle was reportedly occupied by 37-year-old Yanu Raj Sharma, son of Kubir Prasad Sharma, a resident of Lingchom, Gyalshing Bazar. According to the information provided, Sharma was also the owner of the intercepted vehicle.

The search was conducted in the presence of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Gyalshing, and independent witnesses. During the inspection, authorities recovered 269 loose Proximec Spas capsules, 72 PYXWIN SPAS capsules and 16.75 grams of suspected brown sugar from the vehicle's front dashboard.

The recovery included a total of 341 pharmaceutical capsules of two different brands, along with the suspected narcotic substance. The seizure forms part of the reported enforcement action following the interception of the vehicle.
