Mission Nasha Mukht Singtam
Acting on a credible tip-off, a house raid was conducted by PI Sher Bahadur Manger, SHO Singtam, at Daragoan, Singtam, which led to the recovery of a substantial quantity of contraband pharmaceutical drugs — Spasmo-Rec Plus and Nitracure-10.

The raid resulted in the seizure of the said substances from the possession of the following individuals:
• Mandira Gurung (50 years), W/o Late Chandra Bdr Gurung
• Rupa Gurung (50 years), W/o Bir Bdr Gurung
Both residents of Daragoan, Singtam.

The search and seizure were carried out in the presence of Gazetted Officer Shri Sammer Pradhan, SDPO/Rangpo, along with two independent witnesses, Mukesh Agarwal Ward Councilor of Daragoan and Sonu Kumar, in accordance with legal procedures.

Both accused are habitual offenders with previous involvement in drug-related offences. The seized substances have been taken into custody, and a case has been registered against them under the relevant provisions of the Sikkim Anti-Drugs Act.

Further investigation is underway to trace the source and distribution chain of the illegal pharmaceutical drugs.

Singtam Police reiterates its commitment to a Drug-Free Sikkim and appeals to the public to report any such illegal activities in their vicinity.
