Navi Mumbai Crime Branch Arrest 26-Year-Old Man for Possession of Illegal Firearm and Ammunition
Ahead of municipal polls, Navi Mumbai police arrested a 36-year-old Sanpada resident near Panvel railway station for possessing an illegal firearm.
Acting on a tip-off, police laid a trap and seized one pistol and six live cartridges. The accused was arrested and police are probing the source and intended use of the weapon.
