NTA Kicks Off NEET 2026 Fee Refund: Portal Open for Bank Details
New Delhi, May 23 : After canceling the NEET UG 2026 exam on May 3 because of alleged cheating and a paper leak, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally started refunding exam fees. If you were registered, you can now log into the official NEET UG website and submit your bank details to claim your money back.
The portal is live and will stay open until May 27, 2026, at 11:50 PM. Just fill in your account holder name, bank account number, IFSC code, and bank name. For smoother processing, you can also upload a cancelled cheque.
NTA made it clear — once you submit your info, that’s it. No correction window will be offered, so double-check your details before hitting submit. Also, if you’re waiting for your refund, don’t ask your bank or payment gateway for chargebacks; it’ll only complicate things.
The NEET UG 2026 exam was scrapped after widespread accusations of paper leaks and irregularities. The new date for the retest is June 21, and you won’t have to pay the application fee again. The refund amount depends on what you originally paid based on your category.
For future updates on refunds, admit cards, or any changes to the new exam, keep an eye on the official NTA website.
