PM Modi : Next-gen GST reforms to reduce household tax burden
PM Modi said "next generation" of GST reforms, introduced recently, would help MSMEs benefit from faster refunds and reduce household tax burden.
Explaining with example, PM Modi said before 2014, a family spending ₹100 on essential items paid 31 as tax, which has come down to 18 under GST. It'd, now, cost ₹105, aiding both business growth and household savings.
