Sadar Cops Crack Burglary Case in Just 10 Hours, Recover Stolen Gold and Cash

Gangtok, 13 July : A burglary case reported in Syari, Gangtok, was solved within 10 hours thanks to the prompt action of Sadar Police Station.

On July 11, 2025, a complaint was lodged about the theft of gold ornaments and cash worth around ₹4.5 lakh. Acting swiftly, the police launched a coordinated operation to trace the suspect.

Later the same day, Bhushan Trikhatri was intercepted at the Rangpo Atal Setu Checkpost. A search led to the recovery of all stolen items, which were immediately seized.

The case is under further investigation to check the accused’s involvement in other similar crimes.

Police officials commended the vigilance and quick response of the personnel at Rangpo Checkpost for their crucial role in cracking the case so swiftly.
