Salbari Traffic Guard Extends Support to Ila Pal School

Siliguri: In a gesture aimed at supporting students and promoting community welfare, the Salbari Sub-Traffic Guard under the Siliguri Police Commissionerate provided four ceiling fans to Ila Pal School in Sukna.

During a previous awareness programme at the school, traffic officials noticed that some classrooms were without ceiling fans, creating discomfort for students during the summer heat. Taking note of the issue, the traffic guard stepped forward to address the need.

With support from local sponsors, four ceiling fans were donated to the school under the Community Policing initiative. The effort highlights the role of the police in engaging with local communities and extending support beyond their regular duties.
