Shraddha Walkar Murder Case: Court Defers Hearing as Accused Aaftab Poonawala Appears for MA Exam
A Delhi court has postponed the hearing in the Shraddha Walkar murder case, originally scheduled for July 20, after accused Aaftab Amin Poonawala informed the court that he is due to appear for his final MA Sociology examination on the same day.
Poonawala, who is currently lodged in Tihar Jail, submitted an application seeking the adjournment to enable him to take the university examination from inside the prison.
Accepting the request, the court rescheduled the hearing to July 21. The trial in the high-profile murder case will now continue on the revised date.
