Sikkim government intervenes in Asha Paramedical fraud case
A high-level Sikkim Government delegation met Siliguri Police Commissioner C. Sudhakar over the alleged fraud at Asha Paramedical Institute, Salbari, affecting students from Sikkim.
The delegation highlighted academic loss, financial hardship, and distress faced by students, urging swift and strict action.
Police confirmed four arrests so far and said efforts are on to nab the main accused and other associates, with the probe being taken up on priority.
