Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri has been crowned Miss World 2025, securing the prestigious title at a glittering ceremony held in Hyderabad on May 31. The event marked the second consecutive year that India hosted the international beauty pageant.

Opal emerged victorious among global contestants, with Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje Admassu securing the position of first runner-up. Despite a strong performance, India’s representative, Nandini Gupta, did not make it into the Top 8.

Last year’s titleholder, Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic, officially passed on the crown to Opal during the finale, celebrating the Thai contestant’s elegance, advocacy, and global appeal.
