US F-15 Fighter Jet Crashes Over Kuwait as Washington and Tehran Tensions Escalate
Kuwait, March 2 : As fighting between the United States and Iran intensified for a third consecutive day, an American F-15 fighter jet crashed in Kuwaiti airspace on Monday morning. This incident adds more uncertainty to an already unstable situation in the Middle East.
Initial reports indicate that the pilot successfully ejected before the crash and was later confirmed safe. Videos shared on social media showed the pilot on the ground shortly after landing. Security personnel escorted the pilot into a vehicle.
Iran claims that its forces shot down the American jet, but there is no official confirmation of that claim. The exact reason for the crash has not been established.
Authorities have not clarified whether the aircraft was on a combat mission or involved in a training exercise at the time of the incident. Officials are expected to provide more details as investigations continue.
The crash happens amid increasing military exchanges across the region, raising concerns about broader instability in the Middle East.
