Bengal Election Result 2026 : Who could become West Bengal CM as BJP leads?
Early trends show BJP crossing the majority mark in West Bengal and leading on nearly 200 seats. Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah had said if BJP wins, the CM will be from Bengal.
Suvendu Adhikari, ex-TMC leader who switched to BJP, is seen as strongest contender. Dilip Ghosh and Sukanta Majumdar are also among prominent faces who can become CM.
