CBI arrests four in Rs 7.67 crore digital extortion case
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested four key accused—two from Mumbai and two from Moradabad—in a major cybercrime case involving "digital arrests." The arrests were made under Operation Chakra-V, targeting organised cybercrime networks.
The CBI conducted raids at 12 locations across Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and West Bengal, seizing bank documents, digital devices, and other evidence.
All four accused have been remanded to five days of police custody.
