DGCA suspends 4 flight operations inspectors

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has suspended four Flight Operations Inspectors (FOIs) as part of its crackdown following massive flight disruptions at IndiGo, according to PTI.

The action was taken due to negligence in inspection and monitoring of the airline, which has cancelled thousands of flights this month after failing to plan for tighter regulations, reports said.
