Kolkata Police Imposes Section 163 After Mamata Banerjee's Surprise Visit To EVM Strongroom

Kolkata Police has banned gatherings of over four people within 200 m of all seven EVM strong rooms in the city after CM Mamata Banerjee visited the Bhabanipur strong room on Thursday.

Any procession or carrying of firearms, explosives and sharp weapons near the strong rooms has also been banned.

The restrictions will apply till the counting of votes starts.
