Kotak Mahindra Bank Faces Rs 160 Cr FD Fraud Allegations
Kotak Mahindra Bank filed a police complaint after Panchkula Municipal Corporation flagged discrepancies in fixed deposit receipts held with the bank.
The Haryana-based corporation found 160-crore discrepancies. The bank said it has initiated a detailed reconciliation exercise and is cooperating with all authorities.
"A significant portion of amounts under review has...been reconciled," bank said.
