Lost Bag Recovered and Returned to Passenger
On August 15, 2026, a passenger inadvertently misplaced her bag outside New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Acting swiftly on the information received, the plainclothes team of NJP Police Station reached the location and successfully recovered the bag.
The recovered belongings included a laptop, mobile phones, and important documents. After proper verification and completion of the necessary formalities, the bag and its contents were safely handed over to the rightful owner.
