Lost Bag Recovered and Safely Returned to Passenger by Siliguri Police

On 28 August 2026, Shri Anand Agarwal, a resident of Bengaluru, Karnataka, arrived at Bagdogra Airport from Bengaluru with his family and later travelled towards Malbazar.

Upon reaching Malbazar, the family discovered that they had misplaced a bag containing an Apple laptop, ₹16,000 in cash, and other valuable belongings.

After receiving the information, the police team of Bagdogra Airport Outpost under Bagdogra Police Station, Siliguri Police Commissionerate, acted promptly and launched efforts to trace the missing bag. Their timely intervention led to the successful recovery of the bag along with all its contents.

Following proper verification and confirmation of ownership, the recovered bag and belongings were safely handed over to the passenger.

The prompt and dedicated efforts of the police personnel ensured the safe recovery of the valuable items and provided much-needed relief to the family.
