Further, I took the opportunity to discuss various administrative and political issues concerning our region, particularly the need for expediting the Permanent Political Solution process to ensure justice, development, and peace in our Darjeeling hills, Terai, and Dooars. I also expressed my gratitude for the Central Government's continued support and commitment to addressing the longstanding aspirations of the people of our region.

Hon'ble Home Minister Sh. Amit Shah ji has assured me that the Government remains dedicated to finding a Constitutional framework that respects the unique identity and aspirations of our region. He said that the Home Ministry is working on our issue, and will soon be taking productive steps in this regards
