Non-bailable warrant issued against Rahul Gandhi in defamation case
A court in Jharkhand's Chaibasa has issued a non-bailable warrant against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in a defamation case over remarks against Home Minister Amit Shah in 2018.
The court has ordered him to appear before it on June 26 while rejecting a plea by Gandhi seeking exemption from personal appearance. The case was filed by BJP leader Pratap Katiyar.
