One Person Arrested in Cyber-Fraud Case by Siliguri Police
Acting on information regarding a suspected cyber-fraud transaction, police team of Pradhan Nagar Police Station under Siliguri Police Commissionerate arrested one Manisha Mandal (19), a resident of Kharibari, District Darjeeling, from Batasia Bus Stand, P.S. Kharibari, District Darjeeling, as part of Operation Cyber Prahaar.
During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that an amount of ₹91,21,808/- (Rupees Ninety-One Lakh Twenty-One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eight only), suspected to be linked to the cyber-fraud transaction, had been credited to her IndusInd Bank account. Further investigation is underway.
