The AAP — a party I built with years of hard work, dedication, and the prime of my life — has strayed from the ideals and values it once stood for. Today, it no longer serves the nation’s interests, but seems driven by its own gains. Over the past few years, it became increasingly clear to me that I was in the wrong place despite my intentions. So today, I choose to step away from the party and reconnect directly with the people.

We have 10 AAP members in the Rajya Sabha, and over two-thirds of them have backed us on this move. They’ve formally signed the letter, which we submitted to the Rajya Sabha Chairman earlier today along with all supporting documents. Three of those MPs are present here right now. The others who have extended their support include Harbhajan Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Vikram Sahney, and Swati Maliwal.

The seven MPs joining the BJP are:

Raghav Chadha: Former AAP National Spokesperson and key strategist.
Ashok Mittal: Founder of LPU and recently appointed Deputy Leader.
Sandeep Pathak: AAP’s National General Secretary (Organization).
Harbhajan Singh: Legendary former cricketer.
Swati Maliwal: Former Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chief.
Vikram Sahney: Prominent entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Rajinder Gupta: Noted industrialist.
