AIFF Statement On Kolkata Salt Lake Vandalism
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) expressed its concerns over the chaotic Lionel Messi event in Kolkata, where poor crowd management marred the experience for thousands of fans.

Attendees were frustrated as politicians and VVIPs prioritized selfies over crowd control, sidelining eagerly-awaiting fans. The event witnessed several security lapses, resulting in vandalism and unrest.

The AIFF stated it had no involvement in organizing the private event. They condemned the disarray, emphasizing the need for cooperation with authorities and prioritizing safety for all individuals.
