‘Half Encounter’ Not Enough, Says Father of Minor Girl Harassed in Bihar
The father of the minor girl who was allegedly harassed by a group of men in Bihar’s Jamui has said that the police action against accused Nandan Yadav is not enough.
Yadav was arrested after police allegedly shot him in the leg during the operation. The girl’s father said that her education may no longer be possible in Jamui following the incident and appealed to the government to make arrangements for her education elsewhere.
“Now, her education will not be possible here in Jamui. The government should arrange for her education,” he said.
