Indian Man Beheaded In Dallas US Over Washing Machine
The brutal killing of Chandra Nagamallaiah, a 50-year-old man from India, has sent shockwaves through the Dallas community. The incident, which took place at a motel where he worked, reportedly stemmed from a simple disagreement over a washing machine.
According to authorities, Nagamallaiah asked his employee, 37-year-old Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, not to use a broken washing machine. The situation escalated when Cobos-Martinez became upset that Nagamallaiah had asked another employee to translate his request instead of speaking to him directly.
What followed was a horrific and senseless act of violence. After the verbal exchange, Cobos-Martinez allegedly retrieved a machete and began a brutal attack on Nagamallaiah. Despite Nagamallaiah's desperate attempt to escape, running toward the front office, the assault continued. Tragically, Nagamallaiah's wife and 18-year-old son witnessed the attack and tried to intervene, only to be pushed aside by the assailant. The violence culminated in the unthinkable act of Nagamallaiah being decapitated.
Following the attack, a harrowing video surfaced online showing the suspect, covered in blood, carrying the victim's severed head to a dumpster. Police apprehended Cobos-Martinez as he was leaving the area, still in possession of the machete. He has been charged with capital murder and reportedly has a prior criminal history.
In the wake of this tragedy, the Indian Consulate has offered its condolences, describing Nagamallaiah's death as "brutal" and "tragic." They have assured the family of their full support and are closely monitoring the police investigation. This devastating event serves as a stark reminder of how quickly a minor disagreement can turn into an irreversible and horrific tragedy.
