Nana Patekar’s Son Malhar Responds to Tanushree Dutta’s Remarks After Father’s Death
Mumbai, October 17: Malhar Patekar, son of late Bollywood actor Nana Patekar, has responded to renewed controversy surrounding his father following remarks made by actress Tanushree Dutta after the veteran actor’s death on October 8.
Without naming Dutta, Malhar said the sexual harassment case involving his father had already concluded and questioned why the allegations were being raised again. Dutta had accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment during a film shoot, allegations he denied. Police filed a closure report citing insufficient evidence.
Malhar also dismissed speculation that his father had spent his final days alone, saying family members remained by his side. He recalled Nana’s dedication to social work, particularly initiatives supporting farmers and education.
Nana Patekar died in Goa at the age of 75.
