Chhattisgarh Teacher Suspended After Viral Video Shows Him Teaching Incorrect Spellings to Students
A video showed a government primary school teacher teaching incorrect English spellings to children in the Balrampur area of Chhattisgarh. In the video, the teacher was seen teaching 'noge' instead of 'nose', 'eare' instead of 'ear', and 'iey' instead of 'eye'.
After the incident triggered criticism on social media, the District Education Office initiated an inquiry and suspended the teacher.
